Prophecy about New Testament
The New Testament that we have it in our hand it's not an accident, the Old Testament prophets were longing for it, for example, Moses mentioned that the Resurrected king Jesus Christ will write a new law book for us - when he sits upon the throne of his kingdom and he wrote for him this second[מִשְׁנֶה => mishneh] law upon a book, from before the priests, the Levites - Deuteronomy 17:18
And many centuries after, when the people of Israelites living under the law of Moses, God spoke through prophet Isaiah that our Lord himself give a new laws - Listen to Me, My people; And give ear to Me, O My nation: For law will proceed from Me, And I will make My justice rest As a light of the peoples - Isaiah 51:4
When God said "Law will proceed from Me", we can understand that its going to be entirely different from the old testament laws, that was the reason when Christ came into this world, he compared with Old Testament's laws and given us a new commandment - 21.You have heard that it was said to those of old, You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment. 22.But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire - Matthew 5:21-22
Lifeless Old Testament Laws
And Bible is very clear that the Moses' law was given to the rebellious people, and that law will not lead us into eternal life - 21.But the children rebelled against me. They did not walk in my statutes and were not careful to obey my rules, by which, if a person does them, he shall live; they profaned my Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them and spend my anger against them in the wilderness. 22.But I withheld my hand and acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out. 23.Moreover, I swore to them in the wilderness that I would scatter them among the nations and disperse them through the countries, 24.because they had not obeyed my rules, but had rejected my statutes and profaned my Sabbaths, and their eyes were set on their fathers' idols. 25.Moreover, I gave them statutes[Laws] that were not good and rules by which they could not have life - Ezekiel 20:23-25
The same God who spoke through prophet Ezekiel, when he came into this world as Jesus Christ, He said that the Moses wrote the law based on the people desire and hardened heart - 3.And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, Is it lawful to divorce one's wife for any cause? 4.He answered, Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5.and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6.So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate. 7.They said to him, Why then did Moses command one to give a certificate of divorce and to send her away? 8.He said to them, “Because of your hardness of heart Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. 9.And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery - Matthew 19:3-9
Christ's Law for everyone
Moses law was given to people who came out of the Egypt, But, Christ's law for everyone in the world, that's why prophet Isaiah mentioned that coastlands[nations] will wait for Christ's law - He will not grow faint or be discouraged till he has established justice in the earth; and the coastlands[isles] wait for his law - Isaiah 42:4
Here coastlands or isles means, "every nation" or "people group" or "people by clan" or "people by language" or "people by land", that means every one in the world - 1.These are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Sons were born to them after the flood. 2.The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. 3.The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah. 4.The sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. 5.From these the coastland[isles] peoples spread in their lands, each with his own language, by their clans, in their nations - Genesis 10:1-5
Prophesy of Jesus Christ
When Lord said "every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house, who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old" there was no composed version of Old Testament, and there was no trace of New Testament, but whatever Christ said, and for the new laws that old testament prophets were longing for got fulfilled, the apostles wrote all Christ has said, and many centuries after that they composed as a Old and New testament that we can compare and walk according to life giving Christ's law - And he said to them, Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house, who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old - Matthew 13:52
