Psalm 30

Psalm for Jesus Christ Resurrection

Psalm 30 was written by King David for the dedication of Temple, but the truth is King David never built the temple, then why he wrote the Psalm for Temple Dedication? finally the secret was revealed - Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” The Jews then said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will you raise it up in three days?” But he was speaking about the temple of his body - John 2:19-21


And the question raised in this prophecy cannot fit in to any human being, But Jesus Christ alone who shed his blood for our redemption - What profit is there in my blood - Psalms 30:9

A Psalm of David. A song at the dedication of the temple

1. I will extol you, O Lord, for you have drawn me up and have not let my foes rejoice over me.

God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it - Acts 2:24

2. O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me.


3. O Lord, you have brought up my soul from Sheol; you restored me to life from among those who go down to the pit.

And though they found in him no guilt worthy of death, they asked Pilate to have him executed. And when they had carried out all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree and laid him in a tomb. But God raised him from the dead - Acts 13:28-30

4. Sing praises to the Lord, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name.



5. For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

Weeping may tarry for the night - And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” And some of the bystanders hearing it said, “Behold, he is calling Elijah.” And someone ran and filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on a reed and gave it to him to drink, saying, “Wait, let us see whether Elijah will come to take him down.” And Jesus uttered a loud cry and breathed his last - Mark 15:34-37


but joy comes with the morning - But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? Luke 24:1-5


6. And I have said in my ease, “I am not moved for all time.

7. By your favor, O Lord, you made my mountain stand strong; you hid your face; I was dismayed.


For David says concerning him, ‘I saw the Lord always before me, for he is at my right hand that I may not be shaken; therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced; my flesh also will dwell in hope. For you will not abandon my soul to Hades, or let your Holy One see corruption. You have made known to me the paths of life; you will make me full of gladness with your presence.’ - Acts 2:25-28

8. To you, O Lord, I cry, and to the Lord I plead for mercy:

Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? But for this purpose I have come to this hour - John 12:27

9 What profit is there in my blood, When I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your truth?

And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:9-10

10 Hear, O Lord, and be merciful to me! O Lord, be my helper!


11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,


12 that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever!

And I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire, and also those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass with harps of God in their hands. And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations! Revelation 15:2-3

What profit is there in my blood, When I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your truth? - Yes Lord, Thank You for your Blood, we will worship you and declare your truth.
