Wise Men Explanation

Apostle John who was with Christ until his last moment of the crucifixion, has revealed that Jesus Christ is not the image of Word alone, but the Image of Father, Word and the Holy Spirit, and we must believe in him to overcome this world - 5.Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. 6.This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth - 1 John 5:5-6

To understand this in a better way, apostle John first explaining the Trinity of our Heavenly Father as Father, Word and Holy Spirit - because there are three who are testifying in Heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one -  1 John 5:7

And then he explained about the Son Jesus Christ, that Jesus had all three of them(Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit) in him - and there are three who are testifying in the earth: the Spirit(Holy Spirit), and the water(Word), and the blood(Father) and the three are into the one(Jesus Christ) - 1 John 5:8

That was the reason Apostle Paul is saying that Jesus Christ is the Image of the invisible God - The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation - Colossians 1:15 that means in Jesus Christ we can see the Son (The Word became flesh - John 1:14), and our Heavenly Father (Father is in me - John 10:38), and the Holy Spirit (Spirit of the Lord is upon me - Luke 4:18).


Wise Men's Explanation

When Christ was born, the star guided the wise men to child Jesus Christ, and Bible tells that these wise men offered three precious gifts to tell the world that Jesus Christ is an image of trinity God(Father, Word and the Holy Spirit) - Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him. When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him; and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. They told him, In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet: ‘And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’ Then Herod summoned the wise men secretly and ascertained from them what time the star had appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, Go and search diligently for the child, and when you have found him, bring me word, that I too may come and worship him. After listening to the king, they went on their way. And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, Gold and Frankincense and Myrrh. And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way - Matthew 2:1-12

Why Bible called them as Wise Men?

They were searching for true light Jesus Christ

They came with one intention that to worship Jesus Christ

They did not bow down to King  Herod
They never mentioned their name to get some favor  

They never boasted about the worth of their Gift

They never expected any returns or an acknowledgement for their Gifts

They worshiped Jesus Christ alone, not Mary or Joseph

They obeyed God's commandment, and ignored King's commandment
